that year was tough, but I did well in three events (obstacle
course, swimwear, and question and answer round) and came
away with another victory for the year 2000.
After capturing the Ms. Galaxy Nova title, I was offered
the opportunity to compete at the professional level
within the organization. I accepted the first ever International
Nova Fitness Federation (INFF) pro contract. The pro
contracts were given out based on performance in the
Nova events, overall fitness role model potential, and
positive community involvement.
Competing at the pro level in 2001 was a very different
experience. I knew I was competing against some tough
competitors within the pro level, but what was even
more challenging than that was the pressure to meet
the expectations of how a
